2267cc. This yellow Sunbeam Alpine DHC received a full body restoration plus a new overdrive gearbox and overhauled & uprated engine by marque expert Dave Bamforth in 2014. Around 2013 to 2015 it was also prepared for road rallies, with upgrades including power steering, brake servo, reclining sports seats (the originals are included in the sale), rev counter, auxiliary gauges, high-torque starter motor, door locks, seat belts and trip meter. It remains in smart condition today.

Its last MoT expired in 2020, but being a historic vehicle it is exempt from requiring a test. The car came to the sale under its own steam, and the vendor tells us it's driving well. It is accompanied by a large collection of invoices accumulated since the vendor took ownership in 2013, and it was reportedly serviced after every event. The history file also contains old MoTs, a workshop manual, magazine supplement from 1955, a tax disc from 1954, a few hand-written receipts and records from the 1990s, club magazines and spare keys.

The indicated mileage is 3790 and the V5C is present. We're told it was in storage when the DVLA registration system changed, so the V5C records its date of first registration as 1st April 1982.
