2174cc. This Lotus Esprit S2.2 has covered only 27,518 miles, a figure which is warranted by the large stack of MoTs going back to 1986. The vendor's husband bought it in 2018 and continued its track record of annual MoTs until he passed away in 2023, at which time it passed into the vendor's keeping. She describes the Lotus as "a much loved car" and had it MoTed this summer. That certificate will last until 26th May 2026.
This is a late example of the S2.2 Esprit, first registered on 14th May 1981, and we're told that the black bodywork and cream leather interior are original. The history folder contains a large quantity of receipts, including a recent fuel pump, and a handbook with service log showing five stamps, the latest being in 2006 at 17,675 miles. There is also a printout of a Lotus digital service record showing various works between 2012 and 2018, with another oil change at 23,688 miles in 2015.
The latest V5C is present, indicating 7 former keepers.
